In the wake of coronavirus outbreak, the Civil aviation ministry today has decided to suspend international flight operations in the country till July 15. India suspended all the flight operations in the last week of March to curb the COVID-19 spread. The domestic flight operations resumed on May 25 following the stringent measures.
However, the Central government today decided to allow international flights on selected routes. “The international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on case to case basis,” the civil aviation ministry said in a statement.
